I don't know why, but I like this shot. Maybe it is the size of the car... I have no idea what kind it is.... do they have them where you are?.... or maybe it is the textural aspect of the whole thing.
The here and now... and what and why
Complacency is a trap. At least that’s what I was thinking when I up and left the comfort of a Yankee prep school gig, where I taught music, amongst other things, for 28 years. There was also that life long career as a composer, musician and artist.
First, it was a year in St. Thomas, USVI, working as a reporter and shooting photography and then, a year in San Agustin Etla, Oaxaca, Mexico.
Time passed.
More time passed and a year back in the Athens of America followed by a hasty return to Oaxaca where it is all happening.
A couple of years in San Sebastian Etla and now, just down the road in San Pablo Etla. Life is good.

You can find my music on Jango (World & latin - Worldbeat) and at iTunes and most online stores.

It's an EV. I think it is made by Daimler, the maker of Mercedes-Benz. They have a subsidiary called Car2go that uses these cars for their fleet in various cities. It's an interesting car-sharing program for people in a big city that don't want to own a car but want the option of using one locally at times.

Gracias. It does look like a cool car. I wonder if I could fit in it. I was 6'4" the last time I checked.
I love the car2go concept. Also the bikes to go that are appearing in many cities.
Hi,
I think it is called a Smart Car here in the US . . . it is eco friendly.
Those little things are everywhere here (between the prius) in the sf bay area!
