Walking down the hill from Montmartre we stumbled into Café des Deux Moulins. We didn't realize it was the bar where Amélie worked until we spotted the film poster hanging on the wall. We never would have discovered the place had the metro been operating. During a period of anti-France sentiment among many U.S. "lawmakers" we found the citizens of Paris most gracious and hospitable.
