Pit stop in Chinatown

Before shopping in the huge Asian supermarket downtown for supplies to bring back, I had to stop in for some quick dim sum at the China Pearl.
 Spare ribs with black beans
 Sticky rice in lotus leaves.
 Now, I am ready for some quesadillas and mole.

  1. Hi, Love your blog and LOVE Oaxaca! Just a quick question . . . Do you have to return to the states every so often because you are an American or is it your choice? I hope that is not to personal. I am considering Mexico to live year around. Thanks!

  2. I am still on a tourist visa, meaning I have to leave the country every six months. I could get more permanent status, but I need to come back to Boston anyway so... I remain a guest in this remarkable place, albeit, a guest that just seems to stick around and never leave. It actually works very well for me. I need to pick up cheddar cheese and soy sauce.
