Fall cleaning

A beautiful day today, but while it was raining the last few days, I satisfied my neuroses and gave the house a thorough cleaning including taking all the rugs outside and really shaking them out.  They, the rugs, seem much happier.
Today, it was the air, the aura, the vibe of the place, which got a nice cleansing treatment with three kinds of copal straight from a good source in Tlacolula.
The wind and sun cooperated and the smoke moved through the entire house and out the windows.  Cleansing completed.

  1. You have radically changed the colors of your photos, now these are pink, red, orange. Pretty colors that reflect the warm of your interior space, the center, your home, like a heart.
It looks beautiful how the sunlight enter straight and embrace that space.
Home ... that little space is the best place in the world ......

    En la mañana verde,
    quería ser corazón.
    Corazón.

    Y en la tarde madura
    quería ser ruiseñor.
    Ruiseñor.

    (Alma,
    ponte color naranja.
    Alma,
    ponte color marrón)

    En la mañana viva,
    yo quería ser yo.
    Corazón.

    Y en la tarde caída
    quería ser mi voz.
    Ruiseñor.

    ¡Alma,
    ponte color naranja.
    Alma, ponte color de amor!

  2. I confess that the color change may be a manipulation, but it was in keeping with the effect I was trying to achieve... to cleanse and bless the house.

Incidentally, all the rugs in the house, save one, are from my good friend Antonio Ruiz in Teotitlan del Valle. And they are all those vibrant reds, colored by the cochineal, the color for which Oaxaca is so famous.

And thanks for the beautiful words from Lorca.
